Obedience – noun – compliance and submission out of respect for authority

“My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments:  for length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee.”

M46 Challenge:  Talk to your children about the benefits of obedience.  Let them know that God honors their obedience with a long life, full of God’s peace in their life.

Prayer:  Heavenly Father, thank you for honoring your word to my daughter, that as she is obedient you add long life and peace to her life.  Give me wisdom to make it easy for her to honor and obey me so she can walk in your blessings.  In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Thoughts:  Obedience to God demonstrates our love and commitment to Him.  And we know, through scripture, that obedience to God brings blessing and favor upon us and our children (Gen 22:18; Deut 5:29).
